For lawn care and landscaping companies

Mowing routes, crews, and billing in one place.

Weekly and every other week lawns sit on a plan that bills on its own schedule, everyone on the crew sees the day's stops on their phone, and cleanups and installs go out as quotes with extras to tick.

What lawn care companies use most

  • Weekly mowing on a recurring plan
  • Each day planned by drive time
  • Cleanups quoted with extras to tick
  • Autopay for regular lawns

Sound familiar?

What gets in the way, and what changes

The weekly mowing list lives on a clipboard

Which yards are weekly, which are every other week, and who skipped last time all sit on a printed list, and the bills get written up at the end of the month from memory.

With Stacwork

Put each lawn on a recurring plan: the mows are made ahead on the calendar, and the plan bills weekly or monthly on its own schedule.

Trucks crossing town twice in one day

A new lawn gets added wherever there is a gap, and by midsummer the crew is backtracking across town between yards.

With Stacwork

Better route shows an order for the day that drives less, from estimated drive times, and nothing moves until you accept. The crew then opens the stops in order in their phone's maps app.

Paper bills left in the door after every mow

A bill tucked in the door means waiting on checks, and somebody spends Sunday night working out which yards are behind.

With Stacwork

Regular clients save a card once, and autopay charges the plan's bill on its due date after it is emailed. Anyone still behind shows on their client record with what they owe.

Plan the route

  • Weekly or every other week mowing

Recurring visits for cleaning, lawn care, and other regular work: a recurring plan makes each visit ahead on the calendar and bills on its own schedule. The plan's price covers each visit; put anything extra on a separate invoice.

  • Fill the day by drive time

Plan a team member's day by drive time: Fill the day adds the jobs with no time that fit with the least driving, and Better route shows an order that drives less. Drive times are estimates, not live traffic, and nothing moves until you accept.

  • The day's stops opened in the maps app

My Day opens the day's stops in order in the phone's maps app, and you can let your team plan their own day.

  • Drag a rained-out lawn to another day

Drag work from To schedule, beside the calendar, onto a person or a time, or move it to a new time.

On the crew

  • A whole crew on one job

Assign one person or a whole crew.

  • Every crew member's day on their phone

Your team gets My Day on their phone: their schedule, job details, and profile.

  • Checklists and photos at each yard

Checklists, notes, photos, and the client's signature on each job.

  • Crew members see only their own stops

By default, a Team member sees only the work assigned to them, and the client, invoices, and payments of that work.

Get paid

  • Autopay on a saved card

Autopay charges a recurring or rent bill to the client's saved card or bank account on its due date, after the bill is emailed with the card and the date on it.

  • Mulch and plants carried onto the invoice

Record the materials used, and they carry onto the invoice too, with their tax.

  • Crew hours carried onto the invoice

Log time on the job at your hourly rate, or a person's own, and billable time carries onto the invoice.

  • Payment reminders that stop once it is paid Team and up

Payment reminders are drafted before the due date and after it, and stop once the invoice is paid.

Questions from lawn care and landscaping companies

Straight answers about how Stacwork runs your day.

Can I mow some lawns weekly and others every other week?

Yes. Each lawn gets its own recurring plan that repeats every so many days, weeks, or months, and each visit is made ahead on the calendar. You choose how each plan bills: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

What about a fall cleanup or aeration on top of the regular mow?

The plan's price covers each mow. Quote the cleanup or aeration as its own job, with extras the client can tick, and turn the finished job into its own invoice in one click.

Can my crews plan their own route?

Yes, if you let them. Fill the day and Better route plan a person's day by drive time, using estimates rather than live traffic, and nothing moves until it is accepted. My Day then opens the stops in order in the phone's maps app.

Can I bill mulch, plants, and crew hours on a landscaping job?

Yes. Record the materials used and log time on the job, at your hourly rate or a person's own, and both carry onto the invoice, materials with their tax. For a bigger install, ask for a deposit when the client accepts the quote.

Do crew members see every client's billing?

No. A Team member sees only the work assigned to them by default, along with that work's client, invoices, and payments.

Is there a free plan for a small mowing crew?

Yes. Free covers 2 people and runs the whole loop from request to paid, recurring plans included. Team adds payment reminders, review requests, and the client portal, and every new account gets Team free for 7 days with no card. See the plans below for prices.
